Amelia Smart

At her core, Amelia Smart is a team player. Highlighting Laurence St-Germain’s slalom World Championship title in 2023 as her favourite ski moment, the 26-year-old has developed into one of Canada’s premier ski racers in an exciting era for Canadian tech.

The Invermere, BC native had a breakout season on the World Cup in 2021-22, earning her first top-10 finishes at the highest level through the first three months of 2022. In Schladming, AUT, she finished 9th in slalom before capturing another top-10 finish in Courchevel, FRA, in March.

As a follow-up, Smart captured a career-best 8th place finish in slalom in Zagreb, CRO in 2023.

After cracking the top 30 six times in 2023-24, Smart is looking for the podium in the final year before the 2026 Olympics in Milan-Cortina, ITA.
