The Entry Level (EL) Coach is the starting point for alpine ski coaches. Gain the knowledge, practical skills, and experience required to safely and effectively coach athletes in early development stages.
- Support U8 to U12 athletes in the Skier Essentials stage of development.
- Focus on developing fundamental skills and building confidence.
- Prioritize safety, and a fun, positive on-snow experience.
- Coach in free-ski and introductory gate training environments.
- Follow a progression from Trained → Certified → Certified Advanced.
Coaches start their training by completing all the Entry Level Trained modules through an approved ACA-CSC course, delivered by your local PTSO. To start working with young skiers, all coaches must be licensed registered coaches in good standing.
