About
From Windermere, B.C., Courtney Hoffos had a breakthrough season in 2019-20. After sitting out 2018-19 with injury, she returned to the tour on fire, finishing on the podium in her first three World Cup races. She switched to ski cross at 17 years old, after racing alpine for over a decade, and has never looked back.
At the end of 2019-20, she was voted FIS Freestyle women's Rookie of the Year. The now 28-year-old’s World Cup podium breakthrough came in 2019 when she won silver in Val Thorens, FRA.
Since then, she qualified for her first Olympic team at Beijing 2022 and qualified for the small final. Yet, she’s enjoyed another massive breakout since missing the entire 2023-24 season due to injury, racing to the podium six times in 2024-25, highlighted by second-place finishes in Idre Fjall, SWE, and on home snow in Craigleith, AB.
In addition to her World Cup success in 2025, Hoffos capped the year with a silver medal at the World Championships in Engadin, SUI, bringing her career honours to 11 World Cup podiums and a World Championship medal.
