Estelle Martin

About

Estelle Martin joined the Canadian national ski team for her first season at 20 years old, taking the step up after impressing within Quebec and at the famed Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont.

Passionate about ski racing since she was seven years old, she moved to Burke Mountain Academy at 13, elevating her alpine potential that has led her to wear the maple leaf internationally.

In 2024-25, she competed primarily with Québec’s provincial team and earned a Canadian team callup to the FIS World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships in Tarvisio, ITA. There, she finished 21st in the downhill and also started in the super-G and team combined.

It was there, though, that she tore her ACL in the team event, cutting her season short and forcing her to undergo knee surgery and a lengthy rehab program, which has led her back to snow for the 2025-26 season.

Still, the shortened 2024-25 season saw her finish 5th in the Nor-Am downhill standings, with a third-place finish at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine in March.
