BLUE MOUNTAINS, ON (March 1, 2017) – This weekend the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup Finals, supported by Mackenzie Investments will be held on home snow at Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood, Ontario. The world’s best ski cross athletes will be seeking big air and high speeds. Among them will be the 2017 Crystal Globe winner and reigning Olympic champion, Marielle Thompson, who clinched the overall title last weekend winning her sixth race of the season. This will be Thompson’s third Crystal Globe win in her career.
The Canada Ski Cross Team is brimming with success and high profile names who will also be sending it down the track this weekend, including Georgia Simmerling, Chris Del Bosco and Brady Leman.

Visitor / Spectator Information: The Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup, supported by Mackenzie Investments Race and Celebration Festival are FREE to attend. Visitors are encouraged to use the Collingwood / Blue Mountain Transit Link which will be offering FREE bus service from Downtown Collingwood to the Village at Blue.
Spectators are welcome to watch the event from the course finish area, which will be located behind the Blue Mountain Inn. Spectators and guests can also watch live coverage of the race in the World Cup Celebration Area located in the Blue Mountain Village. Guests can also enjoy free family activations and live music in the Village throughout the weekend.
