I’m especially looking forward to seeing our young development athletes continue to grow, gain experience and test themselves against the world’s best.

“We’re also thrilled to welcome Capital Power to the world of ski racing and grateful for their support of Canada’s National Ski Team. Their investment will help develop the next generation of racers and strengthen Canada’s future as a world-leading winter sport nation.”

World Cup ski racing begins this weekend, October 24–25, in Sölden, Austria, where the traditional opening men’s and women’s giant slalom races launch the season. Catch the action this on CBC.ca and CBC Gem.
