Calgary, Alta. (February 1, 2017) – After a short break, the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup circuit is back on this weekend for a double-header race in Feldberg (GER). Both races will be aired on CBC Road to the Olympic Games and streamed lived. The full broadcast schedule is below.
Marielle Thompson, Canada’s ski cross queen, is leading the circuit on the women’s side by close to 200 points. Thompson currently has four wins this season and one second-place result.
Brady Leman is just 60 points shy of first-place, currently sitting second-overall. Leman currently has four second-place finishes. Kevin Drury is also having a great season, making the small finals four times, and the big final once. Drury is currently sitting seventh overall on the circuit. Veteran Chris Del Bosco is still hunting down his first podium of the season after finishing the 2016 season ranking second overall.
