LAKE LOUISE WORLD CUP
I skied to 23rd place in the downhill and I was pumped on my first DH World Cup points. This result was also halfway to making criteria to be named to the Olympic team.
BIRDS OF PREY – BEAVER CREEK WORLD CUP
It was my first time racing at Beaver Creek and what a fun and gnarly course with tons of airtime! I was pumped to build on each of my training runs and put down another 23rd place finish in the downhill. This qualified me for the Olympic team, so that was epic!
BORMIO WORLD CUP
I was ecstatic with my 8th place finish in the Alpine Combined in my first ever race in Bormio. I’m looking forward to going back next year and tackling the same dark and challenging course.
PYEONGCHANG
Being on the Canadian Olympic Team has always been a huge dream of mine and…I made it! Not to mention sharing this experience with my older sister, Marielle.
PYEONGCHANG
What an incredible opportunity racing in my first 3 Olympic races, being able to push the limits and represent Canada on the world stage. I learned a lot from the experience and I’ll be even more ready when the next Games rolls around.
I am exuberant with my 2017/2018 season and taking definite steps in the right direction. My past season included multiple personal bests and strong skiing where I liked to see it. This off-season I have a good idea of how I would like to see myself improve. I am continuing to challenge myself in many different ways on and off snow this training season, doing everything in my power to prepare for next winter. I am looking forward to buckling them up and pushing out of the gate next season, beginning with the World Cup speed opener in Lake Louise.
