Kiara, or “Kiki” as she’s known by, is ready to make her mark on the World Cup stage after a tough couple of seasons lost to injury. Having sustained an injury in a December 2022 training session in Italy, the native of Sunshine Village, Alberta has worked to rehab her knee, returning to snow in 2023, ahead of returning to the World Cup stage in 2024-25.
She started skiing and ski racing as a bonding activity with her family when she was six years old, and she’s never looked back. Growing up in Calgary, Alberta and skiing at Sunshine Village, she’s been a powerful presence at the Nor-Am level, where she has won five times in slalom, super-G and Alpine Combined.
In January 2022, she made her World Cup debut under the lights in Schladming, AUT, and went on to make three World Cup starts the following 2022-23 season; however, she has yet to claim World Cup points.
Back on snow and ready to rock the world’s biggest races, Alexander has forged a special connection with teammates Britt Richardson, Cassidy Gray and Sarah Bennet, and is by far the most active Canadian ski team member on TikTok.
