Alpine Athlete
Kiara, or “Kiki” as she’s known by, started skiing and ski racing as a bonding activity with her family when she was six years old, and she’s never looked back. Growing up in Calgary, Alberta and skiing at Sunshine Village, she’s been a powerful presence in the Nor-Am gates.
In January 2022, she made her World Cup debut under the lights in Schladming, AUT, and went on to make three World Cup starts the following 2022-23 season; however, she has yet to claim World Cup points.
After looking forward to taking big steps in her development in 2023-24, Alexander injured her right knee in September and will not be able to compete this season as she continues her rehab. Still, Alexander has formed a special connection with fellow younger members of the Canadian team in Britt Richardson, Cassidy Gray and Sarah Bennett.
