Following in the footsteps of his teammates Trevor Philp & Erik Read, Simon Fournier is pursuing a post-secondary education while racing for the Canadian Alpine Ski Team. This University of Denver student-athlete is a technical event specialist, with a prowess for slalom. Fournier claimed the overall Slalom title on the NorAm circuit in the 18/19 season, guaranteeing himself a starting position in all World Cup Slalom races in the 2019/20 season. After becoming the National Slalom Champion at last season’s competition in Osler Bluff, Fournier will be looking to gain more experience on the World Cup circuit this season.
