Stefanie Fleckenstein made the Canadian Alpine Development Team in 2016 and has achieved promising results on the FIS and Nor-Am Cup circuits. In the 2015-16 season, Fleckenstein took home eight top-ten finishes including a podium at the Panorama super-G Nor-Am Cup. Dominating on the FIS circuit, she won eight races and had podium finishes at five others. She rounded out the season with a second-place finish at the National Championships in the downhill race. Fleckenstein had her first World Cup start in the 2016-17 at the speed opener at home in Lake Louise. She went on to finish the Nor-Am Cup downhill season ranked second overall and fourth overall in super-G, proving she's "one-to-watch" in the speed disciplines. In the 2017-18 season, she had 13 top-10 Nor-Am Cup finishes in all five disciplines: downhill, super-G, alpine combined, giant slalom and slalom.
