Tristan Rodgers and Mac Marcoux have been intertwined throughout their ski racing career on the world stage; as eight-time Paralympic medalist, Mac Marcoux has followed Rodgers since the pair came together in 2018.
From Ottawa, Rodgers raced with the Mont Tremblant Ski Club before pursuing an engineering degree at the University of Ottawa. After his second year of studies, he put his schooling on hold to guide Marcoux; combining the teamwork he learned through engineering school and his past skiing racing experience, he is a perfect partner for Marcoux while the two travel at speeds upwards of 100KPH. Like Marcoux, Rodgers has a passion for mountain biking, something the two can be found doing through the offseason.
While the two worked through Macoux’s injury in the 2018-19 season, they rebounded in 2019-20, capturing Marcoux’s 50th World Cup podium, as the pair won all eight races they entered on the circuit that season.
