Racing in his second Junior Worlds, Kertesz-Knight, first out of gate today wearing bib #1, put down a time of 40.57 seconds and then waited as 67 athletes came down the course trying to knock him off the podium.

“Bib number one can be challenging but it felt great being able to go before anyone else and to really bring confidence to the run,” said Kertesz-Knight. “The surface was awesome and I trusted my inspection and just believed in myself.”

“Feels pretty cool be to on the same list at Jack Crawford,” added Kertesz-Knight.

Racing at the 2026 FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships continues through March 15th. To see the full FIS Junior World Ski Championship schedule please click here.
