Get in TouchCalgary, AB. (December 5, 2025) — In the second super-G (SG) of the season, James Crawford (Toronto, ON) raced to a seventh-place finish at the FIS Ski World Cup in Beaver Creek (USA). Following a 30-minute weather delay, Crawford led off as the first racer to conquer the low-visibility conditions.

The podium was decided within the first 10 racers, all facing flat light. Vincent Kriechmayr (AUT) finished first, following his second-place finish at last week’s super-G at Copper Mountain (USA). Teammate Raphael Haaser (AUT) shared the podium in third, just behind Fredrik Moeller (NOR) in second.

High winds, fog and heavy snow continued to affect course conditions, leading to four race interruptions before the race jury ended the event.
After finishing 10th in the season opening downhill (DH) on Thursday, Cameron Alexander (North Vancouver, BC) finished the SG with a DNF. Jeffrey Read (Canmore, AB) also ended the day with a DNF.
Raphael Lessard (Bromont, QC), Riley Seger (North Vancouver, BC) and Brodie Seger (North Vancouver, BC) did not start as a result of the race being completed after just 31 racers.
