Julie Vickerman Joins Alpine Canada -  Director, Philanthropy

“We are excited to welcome Julie to Alpine Canada,” said Mark Rubinstein, CEO and President of Alpine Canada. “Julie’s background in successfully managing philantrophic programs in a not-for-profit environment, will add tremendous value in the growth of the Alpine Canada donor programs. The Alpine Canada Podium Club is a crucial component of Alpine Canada’s funding and Julie will make an impactful difference in the ongoing success of this and other initiatives.”

Vickerman joins Alpine Canada from Plan International Canada, where she served as a Senior Manager of Individual Philanthropy and personally managed a large portfolio of major gift donors. Her experience includes the solicitation, stewardship and cultivation of donors to support the revenue requirements of the organization. Prior to this, she served in similar roles with the CNIB, CAMH and the SickKids Foundation.

“I am honoured and excited to have the opportunity to play a role in helping Canadian alpine, para alpine and ski cross athletes achieve their aspiration of reaching World Cup and Olympic podiums,” said Vickerman. “Their dedication to achieving success in our sport will inspire me to grow, build and foster relationships with Alpine Canada’s incredibly committed donors.”
