Get in TouchCalgary, AB. (February 28, 2026) – Last week saw a very successful final stop on the Canadian Nor-Am Cup ski cross circuit at Sun Peaks Resort, in BC. Sun Peaks was an outstanding resort partner providing many dedicated resources to help the race organizing committee deliver a great event. A special thank you to Serenity and Duncan Currie of Sun Peaks Resort and the Sun Peaks Alpine Club (SPAC) for their hard work and generosity in supporting this event. A crew of experienced volunteers from BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan, worked seamlessly with local SPAC parents and Sun Peaks Resort staff to execute three amazing days of training and racing on a fun, long, and turning course.
Thank you also to technical director (TD), Gary Wright, and our TD candidates, Annette McClelland and Peter Dyson, for their leadership during this event. We wish Annette and Peter all our best as they continue to pursue their TD pathway.
A special thank you to Nancy Greene for providing a much-needed course slip on the final day of racing and for a very inspiring speech at the awards to all of ski cross's emerging athletes.
