FIRST WORLD CUP
Achieving a PB finish at the first world cup of the year definitely opened my eyes to what was possible for me. It was a huge moment for me to realize that I really was right there with the best women on the circuit.
A world cup podium was something I've dreamed about since I was a little kid. The flow and the feeling, it was everything I ever thought it would be.
Performance speaking, Nakiska was far from a highlight. But my family was all there supporting me, plus I got to share the experience of all my friends racing their first world cup, and that was everything to me.
The Olympics were really all about the journey to the games for me. I know what it took for me to get there and that's what matters more than a result.
FIS SKI CROSS WORLD CUP ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Winning the rookie of the year was really just the cherry on top of what was a great season. I'm super proud of what I achieved and it was super cool to have that summed up with being named ROTY.
