Two Canadians in the top 20 leading into the PwC Tremblant World Cup

Calgary, AB. (Nov 29, 2025) — In the first of just two World Cups featuring the women in North America this season, Canada’s Valérie Grenier (St. Isidore, ON) led the Canadians with a 13th place finish while fellow Canadian Britt Richardson (Canmore, AB) was 16th at today’s women's FIS Ski World Cup giant slalom (GS) in Copper Mountain (USA). Today’s results come a week before Grenier, Richardson and the rest of the Canadian GS women race at the PwC Tremblant World Cup December 6 and 7.

Grenier was sixth after the first run before finishing 13th for her 43rd World Cup top 20 finish.

“I’m pretty disappointed with today’s race,” said Grenier. “I’ve been skiing well this week in training and I felt good coming into the race. It’s disappointing not to ski that way in the race.”

“It’s hard in the moment, but I’m really excited for Tremblant. It’s one of my favourite races and now that we have the green light that the race is on it makes me really happy. It’s two races at home in front of the home crowd and I’m super excited to see all the fans and to put on a good show.”
