Creating More Ways to Enter and Progress in Para-Alpine
Carving the Future is Alpine Canada’s national program for growing para-alpine across the country. It helps provincial and territorial organizations, ski clubs and adaptive programs create more opportunities for athletes and coaches.
The program supports people trying ski racing for the first time, athletes joining club programs, athletes facing financial barriers, and coaches building para-alpine experience.
Program priorities
- More opportunities: Helping Canadians with disabilities try ski racing and continue in the sport.
- Stronger local programs: Connecting Alpine Canada, provincial organizations, clubs, adaptive programs and coaches.
- Athlete and coach development: Helping athletes and coaches access the support they need to take their next step.
