About
Known as “Kenny,” Kendra Giebrecht joined the Canadian national ski team for her first season in 2025-26, and at just 19 years old, is one of the youngest athletes on the team.
A native of St. Albert, AB, Giesbrecht came through the BAR (E-Team) & Snow Valley, first taking on ski racing at the mere age of six years old, paving the way to her budding national team career.
She made her debut on the Nor-Am Cup circuit in 2023 and the Europa Cup in 2025, and also represented Canada at the FIS Alpine World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships.
In addition to her international experience, she won the 2025 Canadian national championship in giant slalom at Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, adding to her national podium accolades, which already included a third-place finish in slalom from 2024 in Red Mountain, British Columbia.
With a clear goal of continued development, Giebrecht is aiming to compete on the World Cup circuit for her national team.
