The 2021-22 season was a breakout year for Liam Wallace on the Nor-Am stage, as he captured the overall title in the circuit’s standings while finishing second in giant slalom and first in slalom. After making the development team following the 2017-18 season, Wallace has only improved and is a burgeoning star for the Canadian team.
A member of the 2020-21 Alberta Ski Team, Liam comes to the Canadian Alpine Ski Team with tremendous international experience, having competed extensively through North America and Europe. As a member of the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2018-19, he was named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team by the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association.
He began regularly racing on the World Cup circuit in 2022-23, kicking out of the start gate 16 times, bringing his total World Cup starts to 20. While he has yet to secure World Cup points, it’s the next target for the 24-year-old as he continues to develop within the Canadian team.
