The 2021-22 season was a breakout year for Liam Wallace on the Nor-Am stage, as he captured the overall title in the circuit’s standings while finishing second in giant slalom and first in slalom. After making the development team following the 2017-18 season, Wallace has only improved and is a burgeoning star for the Canadian team.
A member of the 2020-21 Alberta Ski Team, Liam comes to the Canadian Alpine Ski Team with tremendous international experience, having competed extensively through North America and Europe. As a member of the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2018-19, he was named to the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team by the United States Collegiate Ski Coaches Association.
Liam built on this success and between 2020 and 2022, in a time when travel and competition were heavily hindered by COVID, and landed on the podium a stunning 13 times each season, which catapulted him on to the national team in the spring of 2021, before bursting into international form in 2022. With four World Cup starts to his name, the 23-year-old is looking to establish himself at the top-level and compete with the best as he eyes more success in 2022-23.
